The Parlour Seasonal Salons are convivial quarterly events for the Parlour community, which have been running since 2016. Casual and welcoming, the salons are an opportunity to meet for conversation over refreshments, to form new networks and relationships and revive older ones.

Held to mark each season, the Parlour Salons connect architects at different stages of their lives and careers, and build networks across areas of expertise and interest. Each salon features a short public conversation between two people with different backgrounds and shared experiences – mentor and mentee, architect and client, emerging and experienced practitioners. Some conversation pairs know each other very well; others are meeting for the very first time. These public introductions set the scene for informal connections and discussions to follow.
Salons are held across Australia, and are hosted by a range of partners, organisations and practices – Brickworks is a particularly generous host.
