What key risks face architects across the sector? How do these affect architects’ ability to comply with their professional standards obligations. What are the implications for the profession?
Dariel de Sousa‘s keynote address outlines the findings from a research project undertaken in 2022 for the Architects Registration Board of Victoria and the NSW Architects Registration Board, followed by a discussion with Kirsten Orr, Registrar of the NSW ARB.
The research focussed on the systemic level, to understand key risks facing architects across the entire sector, particularly those that could affect architects’ ability to comply with their professional standards obligations. Dariel is a multi-disciplinary professional who focuses on regulation, risk, compliance, governance and performance.
