Join Parlour and SAHANZ for Parlour LAB 16 – Care in Healthcare with Julie Bernhardt and Rhonda Kerr. See you online, 16 September.

This session explores the care in healthcare with two significant researchers – Professor Julie Bernhardt, Director of the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Stroke Rehabilitation and Recovery, and Rhonda Kerr, health economist and health facilities planner – in conversation with conveners Kali Marnane and Rebecca McLaughlan.

We will explore what it means to be an empathetic designer in healthcare settings and how design practitioners can help facilitate high level improvements in healthcare infrastructure. We will consider how the design of facilities can best support healthcare services, staff, and patients and be more responsive to the challenges of climate change.
