We are delighted to introduce Parlour ANNEXE!
– all while enjoying mutual support and camaraderie.
- Have you always wanted to be actively involved with Parlour?
- Would you like to meet other like-minded people?
- Are you working in an allied field and want to stay connected?
- Would you like to create change?
- Is there a topic you are passionate about that you’d like to share / support / advocate for?
Parlour ANNEXE is an extension of Parlour, where we hold a space for our community to come together to form their own groups, each with a particular topic of interest. Parlour encourages a broad range of topics, from Mahjong to Menopause, Sonnets to Social Impact, Networking to Neurodiversity.
The self-run groups will all have their own requirements, agendas, and outcomes. Parlour provide Guides on how to get started, how to create a safe and welcoming environment, and set out standard protocols, with monthly check-ins and support as required. The rest is up to you! This creates a flexible, safe, space for the Parlour community to flourish amongst like-minded people.
If this sounds like something you’ve been waiting for, head to Parlour ANNEXE to find out more and register your interest.
We can’t wait to hear from you and see what you come up with!
Parlour ANNEXE is led by Lauren Jeans, with support from the Parlour team. Lauren is an architect based in Adelaide. She is former co-chair of EmAGN SA – in this capacity she set up Archibubs and Beers with Peers. She has excellent experience of getting people together and making things happen, and will be a fantastic guide and supporter of the Parlour ANNEXE groups.
