Parlour Salon – Making Home
Parlour is delighted to be part of the Making Home series of events and installations at the MPavilion. Join us for a special Seasonal Salon exploring what it means to make homes for others, with architect Eloise Atkinson and community housing manager Charlotte Dillon.
Curated by Tania Davidge, Sophie Dyring and Samantha Donnelly, Making Home turns attention to the ever-increasing number of older women at risk of homelessness, along with research and initiatives that aim to support these women.
This special Parlour Seasonal Salon will explore what it means to make homes for others, through an informal conversation between Eloise Atkinson and Charlotte Dillon . How do we, collectively, ensure that everyone has a home? What roles can different professions play in preventing homelessness and supporting women in accessing and making homes? What can we learn from each other, and how can we contribute?
Stay on after the conversation between Eloise and Charlotte for drinks, nibbles, and more conversation.
