Join Parlour and #WomenWorkWisdom for the first Perth Salon for 2023. Suzie Hunt is bringing Kellie McGivern and Lisa Halton together for a fast-paced, animated conversation. See you at Brickworks on 9 March.

Kellie McGivern and Lisa Halton have shared Irish heritage and very different career paths, diverse experiences and wide-ranging commitments. This promises to be an excellent, high-spirited conversation!

Kellie and Lisa will set the scene with a public conversation, then it is over to you – catch up with friends and colleagues, meet new people, build new networks and revive older ones. And simply enjoy the company of some of the great people of Perth architecture and the built environment, all over refreshments.

Support Dress for Success at the Summer Salon

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Brickworks is working with Dress For Success. This global non-profit organisation empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

As part of this initiative, Brickworks is asking people to donate clothes suitable for contemporary women working across all industries. They need quality and ‘as new’ women’s items – so, put on your stylist hat and look for a donation that is appropriate for either a job interview or current workwear.

Dress for Success needs:

  1. Clothing – stylish, smart and/or casual to wear in the modern workplace and for joining via virtual meetings from home;
  2. High quality costume and/or designer jewellery
  3. Handbags and accessories in very good condition
  4. Shoes – only new or near new
  5. Quality +16 sizes

If you are in a position to contribute, bring your donation along to the Summer Salon – feel good while doing good!
