There is increasing evidence of the benefits of flexible workplaces, for employees and employers, for men and women. But what is a flexible workplace? How might we build flexibility into architectural practices of all scales? And how can this contribute to developing more resilient models of practice that are able to respond nimbly to changes in the context we practice in?

A forthcoming event at the Australian Institute of Architects Vic Chapter asks you to flex your ideas about architectural practice.

Nareen Young, of Diversity Council Australia, is joined by Kerstin Thompson, Donald Bates, Jane Williams and Nigel Bertram to discuss the potential for architecture and architects in a discussion chaired by Justine Clark.
