Join us for the first Deadly Djurumin Yarn of 2025! Sarah Lynn Rees yarns with Michael Mossman about his research project examining the efficacy of the First Nations focused Performance Criteria within National Standard of Competency for Architects – and the survey currently underway.
This session is FREE for Parlour Collective people and practices.

Michael Mossman is joining us this month to share information about the large research project Indigenising the Built Environment, and how the Parlour community can contribute to this important work. Funded by Australian Research Council Discovery Indigenous program, the research project commenced in 2024 and concludes in 2026.
Michael will provide a brief overview of the online survey, currently open, which invites practitioners to share their thoughts on the National Standard of Competency for Architects First Nations focused Performance Criteria.
He will then yarn with Sarah about the project aims, ambitions and approach. This includes privileging Indigenous research methodologies and facilitating and promoting cultural safety and inclusiveness throughout the project.
We encourage everyone to take the survey and contribute to this significant project.
