New data from the forthcoming Parlour Census Report shows that pay gaps persist in architecture. There is good news – the gaps have reduced slightly, and the gap for people aged 25-29 has halved since the last Census. The shocking news is that new analysis shows that the the pay gap becomes a chasm when we take cultural background into account.

So, what can we do – as individuals, as practices and as a profession? The Champions of Change Architecture Group has developed a set of practical resources to support practices of all sizes to understand the pay gap and pay equity; to measure, analyse and assess the situation with their businesses and to establish clear and coherent systems to address the pay gap.
