If not here, where? If not in the most colonised place, in the first place impacted by colonisation, in the place the first Aboriginal peoples were displaced from Country. If not here, where can we make comprehensive and genuine change for Country and culture?

In this case study yarn Danièle chats about the precinct design for Macquarie Street East Precinct in Sydney with her collaborators Sharon Veale of GML Heritage and David Tickle of Hassell. They will discuss their process, how they collectively worked together, how they integrated culture, heritage and Country into the design both in process and outcomes, and why it has been impactful. This case study demands that if designing with Country can be addressed here, it can be addressed anywhere.
