Calling Sydney students and recent grads —

What would you like to ask experienced practitioners about navigating equity and the world of work?

Join us as for an evening of fast-paced exchange – lively, intimate, in-person tales of challenges, successes and learning to thrive.

Parlour is delighted to announce The Vine, a new initiative for students and recent graduates of architecture and other built environment disciplines, led by Claire Oh. Book now!

The Vine is our version of speed mentoring, an opportunity for students and recent graduates to connect with established practitioners for quick conversations and engaging story telling. As the new generation and the future of the industry, it is crucial for students and recent graduates to understand the ongoing struggles with life balance and career progression, and to learn about tactics and strategies for navigating personal situations and possibilities for advocating for systemic change.

The Vine aims to create a safe space to discuss and share the challenges architects and practitioners face today in relation to diversity. Through intimate mentoring conversations, this event aims to initiate and foster ongoing relationships and a community of support, and bring light to peoples’ stories.
