The 2012 ‘In Practice’ talk series discussed and celebrated the contribution women make to the practice of architecture in Queensland. In Practice invited the audience to have Friday afternoon drinks in someone else’s office. These events were organised by Kirsty Volz and were generously supported the Queensland Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects.
The talk series included:

Di Lund, Trapp Architects – 17 August
Stephanie Skyring, Skyring Architects – 31 August
‘Inspiration from people and everyday life, a design approach’
Lucy O’Driscoll, Hassell – 14 September
‘Collaborative Spaces in Science and Education Facilities’

Please make these talks available to those who can’t make it! If you need help setting up a vimeo or youtube account and recording the talks, I would be happy to help!

Hi Kate – thanks very much for your suggestion. I’m not sure I could get hold of a camera with an adequate audio recording capacity, but I definitely have access to a suitable audio recording device and then I could upload a podcast. What do you think? Would that be sufficient?
