After Transform Lori Brown is heading to Brisbane, where she will give a public lecture as part of the Transform follow up event organised by Naomi Stead.
Lori’s Brisbane keynote, ‘Beyond Patronage’, will discuss possible futures for our profession that move away from the emphasis on patronage that our discipline has long been reliant upon.
This will be followed by an interactive workshop, which seeks feedback and input into a series of draft guidelines towards more equitable architectural workplaces, currently under development by the research project ‘Equity and Diversity in the Australian Architecture Profession.’ Following a consultation period, these guidelines will be released jointly by Parlour and the Australian Institute of Architects, late in 2013.
