We are thrilled that Debjani Sarkar and Lameesa Yousuf are joining us for the next Sydney Salon. Debjani and Lameesa have met recently – through a little bit of Parlour matchmaking. We are all working together to develop a new initiative – On the Verandah – which will offer practical support to people from migrant backgrounds seeking to get into architecture and the built environment professions. This is a work in progress – based in Debjani’s excellent Expat Women Architects.
We are kicking things off by welcoming Lameesa and Debjani as Salon speakers, so we can all learn a little more about who they are and what motivates them – and to revel in their infectious enthusiasm for making a difference!
Debjani and Lameesa will set the scene, then it’s over to you – catch up with friends and colleagues, meet new people, build new networks and revive older ones. And simply enjoy the company of some of the great people of Sydney architecture and the built environment, all over refreshments.
