Event bookings and the access and use of video content and CPD

Your obligations

By purchasing event tickets and access to our online videos and CPD you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below as well as our Privacy Policy, as updated from time to time. If you do not accept or agree with these Terms or our Privacy Policy, you must not use our online services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms from time to time without notice.

Event tickets and video access

Tickets to events, video access and associated CPD are per person. If you wish to watch these sessions as a group, you must purchase tickets for all participants.

Event tickets are purchased via the Stripe payment gateway or a complimentary code.

Each live event ticket purchase includes a code to later access the recording, if one is made.

Video access is provided for 72 hours from the time the viewer starts watching. The video may be returned to multiple times within this period.

Complimentary tickets provided as part of the Parlour Collective are accessed via a code. The number of tickets available is documented on the subscribers account page. Subscribers are responsible for distributing and managing access to these codes. Complimentary code holders can enter their usual code to gain access to any video.

Discounts, group pricing, and concessions

All Collective subscribers have access to discounted tickets, with further discounts available for group purchases.

Concessions are available to Parlour Collective subscribers experiencing financial hardship. Concessions may be applied for at any time. This will give access to substantial discounting for up to 5 purchases in the current calendar quarter.

Distribution of codes

Codes can be distributed to nominated people within the purchaser’s circle. Individuals must have an account in order to use the code. They can sign up for an account at any time.

Codes have no cash value and must not be sold.

We reserve the right to revoke a code if there is evidence of inappropriate use.

CPD

Tickets to eligible events and recordings include access to the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) questions, which need to be completed to meet formal CPD requirements. These are supplied via a link to a Google form. This generates an email with a PDF of the responses, which must be retained by the purchaser as evidence of attendance and completion.

CPD is non-transferable and can only be claimed by the individual who attended/watched the session and completed the questions. Sharing of access or CPD documentation with people who have not purchased access is not permitted.

CPD is provided in terms of the AACA Continuing Professional Development/Continuing Professional Education Framework for Architects in Australia, under the category “Provider-delivered activities that include a structured assessment task that genuinely tests participants’ understanding of content”. Under this framework, the responsibility for determining the appropriateness of the CPD resides with the applicant. The AACA and the Boards of Architects do not accredit CPD providers or courses.

This CPD may also be relevant to other built environment professions – it is the responsibility of the purchaser to determine relevance and appropriateness.

The allocation of formal CPD is subject to the rules and requirements of the relevant professional bodies in each state. We are not responsible for any changes in CPD accreditation criteria that may affect the recognition of points earned through our content

While we strive to provide valuable and accurate information, we do not guarantee that the content or the CPD will meet your specific requirements. The applicability of the information provided is subject to individual interpretation and application.
