LAB 31 brings Angelique Edmonds and Jacqueline Paul together to discuss their research on socially inclusive practices in planning and design that nurture diverse relationships with community. The conversation will explore how built environment professionals can embed these practices into the planning and design of projects.
Angelique is a Senior Lecturer at the University of South Australia and recognised as an expert on social impact and design. She is a passionate advocate for socially inclusive design that promotes broad participation and public engagement in design.
Jacqueline is currently undertaking a PhD in urban studies and planning at MIT. With a background in landscape architecture and planning, her research explores practices from Indigenous planning that can be harnessed more broadly when building social inclusion.
