The Australian Institute of Architects NCGE is seeking three new members to join this active committee to assist in a variety of tasks and projects over a two-year period.
The NCGE welcomes expressions of interest from all Institute members who are passionate about gender, equity and diversity. With a focus on diverse representation, the committee especially invites nominations from ACT, NSW, NT, SA, TAS and SONA members for the positions.
Some of the duties committee members will assist in include gender equity toolkits, research opportunities, preparation for future leadership, approval and implementation of policies, and developing communication with a wider community on matters of gender equity and inclusiveness. New members are expected to be active contributors and participate professionally, including attending monthly committee meetings online.
The application process requires a one-page EOI letter, explaining your interest in joining and detailing your suitability and capacity to meet commitments; a CV demonstrating relevant knowledge, training and experiences; and a 150-word bio and photograph ready for the committee’s website.
The EOI and CV should be sent as a single document to Beata.Davey@architecture.com.au, with nominations closing on Wednesday 8 May 2024
