Join us for the next edition of The Vine – an evening of fast-paced exchange for Sydney students and recent grads to learn about navigating small practices and the design world post-grad.

What would you like to ask experienced practitioners about navigating equity and the world of work?

The Vine is our version of speed mentoring, an opportunity for students and recent graduates to connect with established practitioners for quick conversations and engaging story telling. Conceived and developed by Claire Oh, each session is led by a graduate from the hosting practice with support from Parlour.

Students and graduates will have the chance to talk to approx six mentors over the course of the evening – in a sequence of 8-minute blocks. There is also plenty of time to mingle over refreshments, and is a great opportunity to meet others starting out in the built environment professions.

Through intimate mentoring conversations, this event aims to initiate and foster ongoing relationships and a community of support, and bring light to peoples’ stories.
