Parlour co-founder Gill Matthewson is giving a public lecture at the The Architectural Centre in Wellington on Wednesday 4 June – celebrating her return to Aotearoa.
Gill will chart her career advocating for gender equity on both sides of the Tasman. In 2012–13 she completed a huge survey of Australian architects. From this data she has mapped the impacts of gender on architectural careers with implications for understanding similar patterns in Aotearoa New Zealand. Her findings help us understand how structural and cultural conditions can impact career pathways within architecture.
This event will be preceded by the AGM of the Architectural Centre at 5pm.
