Join WikiD in Melbourne and Hobart for the 2020 International Women’s Day edit-a-thons. This year we are delighted to be part of the Know My Name program. WikiD is collaborating with the Women’s Art Register, Art & Feminism and Wikimedia Australia to help write even more women into Wikipedia!
Come along to learn how to edit, or just get stuck in! BYO laptop.
Please do a couple of things before coming along:
- Please sign up to get a Wikipedia user name BEFORE the event, if you don’t already have one. Do this here.
- Think about who you want to write about – if possible collect some reference material. See here for topic suggestions and here for Australian references.
- Take a look at the WikiD Guides to Editing Wikipedia.
- Read our Simple Tasks for Getting Started.
