Please join us the Faculty of Architecture, Design & Planning to see a stellar panel of architects – Stephanie Smith, Rachel Neeson, Camilla Block and Imogen Howe – discuss the future of practice. Moderated by Parlour’s Justine Clark.
“The question is not whether we can afford gender equity, but whether we can afford to miss out on its benefits. Only if architecture becomes more inclusive – and equitable – will the profession be able to fulfil its own potential” — Naomi Stead
The long-term sustainability of the profession depends on architecture becoming more diverse – in demographics, in ways of working and in modes of practice. How might we redesign our profession to support diverse, sustainable work practice? What would expanded definitions of architectural practice and engagement be and what would they offer both the discipline and the community?
Join a stellar panel to discuss these questions and speculate on the different roles we might play in moving towards a more equitable and robust profession with opportunity for all.
