Stepping Up on Career Development

Join Parlour, the ACA and the Champions of Change Architecture Group for a discussion about career pathways and supporting people to meet their aims and potential.

Book now for this informative session with Thihoa Gill of Grimshaw, Tara Keast of DesignInc and Jonathan Robberts of Monash University in conversation with Monica Edwards and Justine Clark.

There are many ways to build a career in architecture and many paths to take. So, how can we best support people to chart their own course? What is the role of practices and senior leadership? What processes can help foster professional development and accountability?

The Champions of Change Architecture Group argues that annual performance reviews are inadequate and often in-effective. They propose regular development-focused conversations to enrich and support an individual’s purpose, ownership, connection and career pathway to the benefit of all.
