Parlour is looking for a new member of the team to manage our partnerships and grow our supporter program, the Parlour Collective. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, dedicated team that makes a big impact.

Parlour seeks an enthusiastic, proactive, strategic partnerships manager to manage our existing partnerships, identify and secure new partnerships, and manage and help build the Parlour Collective.
Parlour is in a growth phase, with multiple projects on the go and many ambitious plans. The new role will support this work by expanding our partnership list and building financial support from architecture practices and allied businesses in the built environment through the Parlour Collective.
This is a brand new role and there is huge potential, with Parlour already very well-known, respected and valued across the profession
Our new partnerships manager will work closely with the Parlour team, initially averaging about 7–10 hours a week. Hours can be spread out over the week and there is the opportunity for the role to grow with the organisation.
This is a contract role. Remuneration to be negotiated with the successful candidate. The team works remotely – candidates are welcome from all locations in Australia.

Funding comes from institutional and corporate partnerships, an extensive events program and the Parlour Collective, Parlour’s supporter program.
More about the role
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Identify and secure new corporate partner for the Parlour Seasonal Salon Program
- Identify and secure potential new institutional and corporate partners.
- Negotiate and renew existing partnership agreements and contracts. Work closely with partners and the Parlour team to ensure that partners receive all contractual benefits and maximum exposure.
- Develop, build and manage corporate and institutional relationships and partnerships.
- Develop and implement a proactive growth strategy for the Parlour Collective.
About you
The new member of our team will have an interest and understanding of equity and diversity and knowledge of the architecture profession. They will have the following skills, attributes and experience:
- Strong partner or client management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organisational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small remote team to meet agreed deadlines and achieve project goals
- Ability to be flexible, responsive, resilient and self-motivated
- Be efficient, mature and unflappable
