A new research project seeks survey participants to help understand the personal experiences of people striving to achieve environmental sustainability outcomes in the construction industry.
This survey has been created to inform research being undertaken as part of the International Women’s Day Scholarship, awarded to researcher Sarah Lawlor and supported by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and Cult.
The research project aims to understand the diversity of participation and representation in environmental sustainability leadership in the construction industry. This research will investigate the demographic data of people working in and leading the sustainability industry, and how that compares to the construction industry more broadly. By exploring the personal experiences of participants, the policies and structures of organisations, as well as the challenges and opportunities within the construction industry, the research aims to develop recommendations that support the development of diverse leadership and effective sustainability outcomes.
The survey closing date is 28 August. For more information and to take the survey, head to the survey link.
