Samantha Donnelly

Academic, Architectural designer
UTS

My experience in architectural education is focused on social impact projects, inclusive and gender-sensitive design and sustainable practices. I teach into both the Architecture and Interior Architecture courses and am an active collaborator with the Design Innovation Research Centre, on projects that address violence through design.
I continue to work closely with practitioners, inside and outside the university on projects that respond to the needs of marginalised or vulnerable communities.
As a PhD candidate at Monash University, my research is focused on the possible benefits of tailored accommodation for women and children leaving violence.
