Kim advocates for the prioritisation of design quality in policy and projects, for the benefit of the end-user and the community, and with a special interest in housing.

Before working at Homes NSW as a design manager on social housing projects, Kim worked with Government Architect NSW, City of Parramatta, as a project leader for a major developer’s design team, and in architectural practices, both small and large. Projects have included single houses through to multi-residential apartment developments, retail and public projects. This has provided a broad understanding of pursuing the best outcomes against a backdrop of community, program and budget imperatives.

A registered architect with over 30 years in the industry, Kim has also been involved in business development, operations, tutoring university architectural design studios and contributing to public forums on architectural practice.
