Badru Ahmed

Project Manager | Architect

I am a Registered Architect and Project Manager currently working in Melbourne, Australia, and a sessional tutor at RMIT, the University of Melbourne and Victoria University for the Master of Architecture and Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) programs. My professional and educational experiences include involvement in local and international institutions in Australia, Portugal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

I aspire to become an individual who does not merely engage with the industry as a professional, but also as an agent of social change through participation and collaboration. I believe that the functionality, economics and aesthetics of the built environment and its subsequent impact on society are all part of the same narrative. An immigrant from Bangladesh, I am a keen observer of people, culture and societal norms, and I am determined to contribute to equity of opportunities for which I find inspiration from my own curious life experiences.

My interests are reading, occasionally writing, and visiting ruins and archaeological sites around the globe.
