I'm an architect and designer with over thirty-five years’ experience in Australia and Asia.
I specialise in the design of experience-driven buildings and interiors for leisure, learning, living and work. Current projects include branded residences for Aman in Bali and Sri Lanka and a resort village and spa in the Seychelles for Rosewood. My most significant built work includes the Lalu Hotel Sun Moon Lake (Taiwan), Leighton Beachside Condominium (Fremantle), Victorian College of the Arts Centre for Ideas (Melbourne), DBS Bank Headquarters (Singapore), and the Du Shu Hu Higher Education Academy (Suzhou). The Australian Wildlife Health Centre, designed at Minifie Nixon, received several awards, including the Victorian Premier’s Design Award for Cultural Architecture and the Australian Institute of Architects William Wardell Award for Institutional Architecture.
I studied architecture and computer science at RMIT and urban planning and design at UTS. I'm registered in APEC, Singapore and Victoria and am a Life Fellow of the RAIA, for which I have chaired the International Committee. I've taught at RMIT, Melbourne University and the National University of Singapore and written for AA, AR, Artichoke and Singapore Architect Magazine.
