I'm an architect and designer with over thirty years’ experience in Australia and Asia.
I specialise in the design of experience-driven buildings and interiors for leisure, learning, living and work. My most significant projects include the Lalu Hotel Sun Moon Lake (Taiwan), Victorian College of the Arts Centre for Ideas (Melbourne), DBS Bank Headquarters (Singapore), and the Du Shu Hu Higher Education Academy (Suzhou). The Australian Wildlife Health Centre, designed at Minifie Nixon, received several awards, including the Victorian Premier’s Design Award for Cultural Architecture and the Australian Institute of Architects William Wardell Award for Institutional Architecture.
I studied Architecture and Computer Science at RMIT. I'm registered in APEC, Singapore and Victoria and a Fellow of the AIA, for which I have chaired the International Committee. I've taught at RMIT, Melbourne University and the National University of Singapore and written for AA, AR, Artichoke and Singapore Architect Magazine.
