Known for her energetic drive, collaborative nature, and talent for getting anyone talking, Alex has been immersed in the architectural industry for more than a decade. She believes that embracing authenticity and celebrating the unique ways we live, work, and play is key to creating exceptional architectural experiences.

Alex has a keen interest in business, particularly in how we can challenge traditional models to create new, sustainable, and supportive frameworks that enrich the lives of every member of a team. Outside of her project work, you’ll generally find her catching up with industry peers over a coffee, listening to one of the hundreds of podcasts listed in her Notes app, or developing the vision for Marlowe with her business partner, Kelsey.

Hailing from a family full of builders, artists, and carpenters, Alex has been surrounded by the design and construction industry since early childhood. Although she now calls Southeast Queensland home, she was born and raised in regional New South Wales, fostering a deep appreciation for strong connections with local community.

As a Founder & Director of Marlowe Architecture, Alex brings these foundational values, along with her extensive experience across the early learning, commercial, heritage, and residential sectors, to every project.
