Karin is a RAIA registered architect, ADR Shortlisted 30UNDER30 candidate and aspiring urbanist with the UDA in which her passion for innovation in the built environment operates within this harmonious realm of architecture and its contribution and connections to the wider urban context. Her career has focused on the public sector with conceptual design and built work including educational and cultural landmark and anchor projects ranging from strategic curatorial business cases to tertiary public institutions, adaptive reuse and urban regeneration projects. A focus on a research-based humanist approach underpins her design approach, stretching across scales and domains beyond. With interest in instilling visions of vitality, timelessness, innovation and legacy, architecture presents collective possibilities of innovation and transformation.
She is a recipient of the Hezlet Bequest Travelling Scholarship, CHL Turner Memorial Prize in Architectural Design, Postgraduate Innovation in Architectural Design Award.
