Kim Wilson
Senior Heritage AdvisorDr Kim Wilson has a background in cultural heritage, design, and sustainable development. She has published widely and presented at various local and international conferences. Her work has been recognised by a number of leading bodies, and she has been the recipient of several commendations and scholarships. With qualifications in tourism, event management, and design, Kim also completed her interdisciplinary PhD exploring design innovation and the sustainable adaptive reuse of built heritage.
Kim is currently working for a government authority conserving, activating, and interpreting a large and diverse range of heritage places of Local, State, and National significance located on public land, and is a member of the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee for Energy and Sustainability, Australia ICOMOS World Heritage Reference Group, Australia ICOMOS Climate Change & Cultural Heritage Working Group, and the Art Deco & Modernism Society of Australia Committee.
