Ella is an architect currently working within the commercial sector at BatesSmart. Over seven years she has worked across various sectors including; aviation, commercial, civic and education. She was an integral team member in the design and delivery of Gold Coast Airport which was both challenging and rewarding. Yet it was through this process that she realised her passion for the built environment lies within public architecture. She believes that a positive and enthusiastic approach to collaboration produces the best design outcomes, and therefore has enjoyed working on projects which engage various disciplines. It's drawn from her experience that detailed collaboration provides the opportunity to design buildings which create social hubs, that drive culture and assist in the positive expansion of cities.
