Hola! My name is Paola Incer, originally from Costa Rica, I am a registered architect in the UK, (progressing my registration in Australia) and a member of QEDIC - AIA Queensland Equity Diversity and Inclusion committee since 2018. I have over 10 years’ experience in all aspects of project delivery and I have developed a portfolio which spans across three continents.
Call me a romantic! But I believe in the greatness of architecture and the power within. Always remembering that with great power comes great responsibility, not only towards our client and the project but towards the community, the environment, the final user and ourselves. I feel passionate about encouraging and celebrating diversity as a trump card towards the delivery of successful projects. Living and working in different countries has made me learn and discover how the amazing role of women in architecture (and other careers) has progressed and how our profession's future looks brighter and stronger. Still lots to be done, but I feel excited and proud to be part of this journey.
