Over a decade ago, Glenn Murcutt imparted a powerful message to us during our graduation studio: “you must put into your work firstly effort, secondly, love, and finally, suffering.” These words have been my guiding light throughout my career, reinforcing my conviction that architecture is a lifelong journey, one that demands unwavering patience and relentless dedication.
As I’ve ventured on this journey, I’ve carved out my own perspective on architecture – a perspective rooted in the belief that emotional connections are essential in creating spaces that elevate human experience. Embarking on this exploration and self-discovery, we can all uncover our distinctive voices and perspectives in the world of architecture.
