Tess Tweeddale

ARCHITECT AND ARTIST

Tess Tweeddale is an architect and artist who has worked between Brisbane and Melbourne. Tess’s architectural work centres on public projects such as health, aged care and disability residences as well as early years, arts and education.

Gaining different perspectives across disciplines, she returned to study for a postgraduate course in visual art at Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne and translated creative and technical knowledge from architecture and art to work at a landscape firm. Recently Tess received funding to study for a short course in Access Consulting, expanding her awareness of equity in the built environment from practice.

Tess studied her architecture degree and later tutored in Interior design at Queensland University of Technology. She has exhibited in artist run group shows and contributed within the artist community.
