Phuong plays a pivotal role at McBride Charles Ryan as the Senior Associate. She is a well-rounded and passionate architect who believes that good architecture should not only impress but also reflect and embody the people who live within them.

Her leadership style involves honest collaboration with clients, consultants, the internal team, and contractors. Her expertise in complex staging, geometry, and three-dimensional modeling has contributed to the overall design quality of the projects she has led, such as the PEGS Gymnasium and Monash University Logan Hall student housing project.

Phuong has extensive design and delivery experience in a wide range of project types, including residential, institutional, university, justice, and healthcare facilities. Notably, she was the Architectural and Health Planning Lead on each of MCR’s Royal Melbourne Hospital Master Plans. Phuong is also involved in the Novell Redesign healthcare research program at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health.
