AssociateARM Architecture
I’m a Melbourne-based interior designer. I have a degree in architecture, but I’ve always worked in interiors. I love thinking about the spaces we occupy, from the overall experience down to the small-scale details and balancing the technical and creative aspects of the role.
I enjoy working across various project stages and typologies. I’ve worked on workplace fit-outs, multi-residential and education projects. I coordinate everything interior-related – from documentation and schedules to contract administration. Such a varied role means each project, site and client presents a new challenge.
I’m keen to be involved in Marion’s List to support my peers and the next generation of women designers. We aren’t great advocates for ourselves but are fantastic at championing others. I’d like to see more women in leadership positions and be involved in key decisions.
Having just completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, I’m working towards teaching interior design. I have done some sessional tutoring previously and was keen to develop skills to teach and deliver content. It has been a rewarding challenge to study again.
