Academic / Lecturer
University of Technology Sydney

Endriana Audisho is a lecturer in the School of Architecture at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

She is currently completing a PhD titled 'Screening Architecture: Architecture, Conflict and Media since the 1990s.' The dissertation traces an alternative narrative of the 'digital in architecture' by re-situating architectural production and representation at the confluence of media and conflict, via the screen. More importantly, it presents ways in which architecture can critically engage with geopolitical and aesthetic concerns raised by a culture that is increasingly driven by conflict and its mediation.

Endriana teaches across architectural design, history and theory and architectural communication. Endriana also coordinates Advocacy as a part of the professional practice stream in the Master of Architecture, a subject that exposes students to broader practice through forms of advocacy and activism.

Endriana's research is primarily concerned with the politics of representation and advocates for making things public, specifically injustices against both humans and non-humans. Both her teaching and research are seen as a forum, platform and testing ground to expose colonial legacies implicit in contemporary cities.
