Anna is a co-founder of contexture, a Brisbane based emerging design practice with diverse folio experience. Anna has over 20 years post graduate experience and is a registered architect. Passionate in eco-efficient design - ecological and economic sustainability, Anna is focused on resilient and innovative outcomes that provide the client with joy.

Past roles have included Design Manager for building company Thiess, Prinicpal Project Officer and Manager for Qld Health, and Architect to many residential, commercial and industrial projects (health, science & research, education and transport sectors) (Jackson Architecture, Lyons, Jacobs). In 2022, Anna was a casual academic tutoring 2nd year architectural design students at UQ. The past 5 years, working at Jacobs, allowed focus on Primary Health Care Centers, in the Torres Strait. Anna's involvement started from project definition plan, included working with the community and stakeholder engagement, health design through concept and developed design, client and builder liaison and contract administration during construction phase. In 2008-2014 Anna was a part of the architectural team for the Qld Children's Hospital project from Master planning stage through to the end of Design development Lyons/ Conrad Gargett JV. From here Anna joined Qld Health client side as Principal Project Officer, until commissioning stage in 2014.

Seeking different roles and experience has helped Anna identify her ongoing passion for good design, problem solving and the importance of collaboration with multidisciplinary and diverse project roles, stakeholders and clients. An efficient and effective in-sync-team is unstoppable!
