Lauren is a registered architect at LatStudios working out of the Brisbane office, with experience in the design and delivery of high public and community centric spaces. She has spent several years working across a variety of scales with a focus on public realm design, infrastructure, institutional and community architecture. She contributed to awarded projects including the University of Queensland’s Gatton Campus Heart.

She has had the opportunity to work on several significant urban precincts and priority development areas in Queensland to communicate good urban design outcomes, influence development policy, and deliver strategic masterplans. Her role includes stakeholder engagement, consultant coordination and collaboration, community engagement and research.

Lauren graduated from a Masters of Architecture at Queensland University of Technology in 2020. As part of her undergraduate degree, she studied abroad at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy with a focus on urban design and precinct regeneration, masterplanning and adaptive reuse in architecture. She believes the role of the architect is to advocate for vibrant and lively public spaces that support and foster healthy communities.
