Carol Marra

Director
Marra + Yeh Architects

Carol is a registered architect with over 20 years of extensive local and international experience with projects in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and USA. A founding director of Marra + Yeh Architects, I have cross disciplinary experience in architecture, urban design, masterplanning, sustainability and heritage, and a particular focus on climate change adaptation and mitigation. In addition to practice I work across research, writing and academia.

I am a Churchill Fellow, completing research in Climate-adaptation for architecture & urban environments. I have contributed as a peer-reviewer to the World Congress of Architects in the area of Design for Climate Adaptation and have contributed articles to the Environment Design Guide and the Architecture Bulletin. Marra + Yeh Architects are developing a design guide for climate resilient housing funded through the Alastair Swayn Foundation.

I am a Principal Design Advisor at the Government Architect NSW, chairing the State Design Review Panel and providing advice and review of significant projects and built environment policies.
