Laura is a registered architect in Melbourne/Naarm and Associate at Studio Bright, Melbourne, with over a decade of experience across prominent design studios.

Adaptive and collaborative, Laura's approach to design and execution is not limited by scale or typology. Anchored in highly sensitive and contextual residential work, her contribution has extended to lend the same interrogation to her support and leadership in large scale projects for both public and private clients. These typologies have included mixed-use, gallery, multi-residential and social housing. Her interest lies in an architecture that traverses both service—to its site and community—and exploration—through robust spatial, material, and social research and re-imagining.

Laura holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Queensland and she has been an active design sessional tutor and guest critic at leading institutions across Queensland & Victoria since 2012.

She balances her interest in design expression through engagement and experimentation with object & furniture design and is a strong advocate for gender equity in both her life and work.
