Suzanne Dance

As a sole practitioner since the seventies, Suzanne Dance’s work includes private commissions, community projects and architectural conservation.

She is the recipient of two awards from the Australian Institute of Architects – one for Housing Design and another (with three others) for Urban and Community Design.

A post graduate course in architectural conservation in Italy led to Suzanne taking a number of studios in Rome during her time as a sessional tutor in design/ urban conservation at RMIT.

Alongside her day-to-day practice, she has participated in a range of related local and state organisations, including the City of Fitzroy (now Yarra), the Architects Registration Board of Victoria, The Historic Buildings Council, Australian Institute of Architects awards juries and the Victorian Building Commission.

Suzanne was a member of Women in Architecture and The Women’s Winter School.
