I am an experienced interior designer and design sessional academic at the Queensland University of Technology. After graduating in 1998, I have more than 20 years’ professional experience. I am active in the Brisbane design industry and network and am a Fellow of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA).

My practice draws upon the intersections between interior design and architecture. I am passionate about delivering projects that celebrate the experience of space, and that elevate place as an extension of culture. I started Studiospillane in 2019 as an Interior Design practice that would focus on hospitality, retail, and aviation - and the crossovers between all three.

Prior to starting studiospillane, I spent the formative years of my career in design leadership positions within leading architectural practices in primarily Brisbane.
