Kirby’s career has seen her in roles as architect, project leader and design manager prior to joining GroupGSA as Principal.

Kirby’s experience both practicing architecture and contractor-side covers a diverse scale of complex and award-winning work for public & private clients, across commercial & workplace, civic, education, research, hotels & tourism sectors. Passionate about the intersection of strategy, architecture, design and construction, she has an unorthodox blend of project management and architectural design expertise, enriched by interests in history, anthropology and human behaviour.

A strong believer that design outcomes are best enriched by diversity of thought, experience and supporting individuals, she is experienced at leading large, multi-disciplinary teams. Kirby has established a strong reputation for design leadership, project delivery and change management both contractor-side and in large architectural practice from a project’s inception to completion.

Kirby’s current role at GroupGSA has seen her apply the breadth of her experience to the broader evolution and development of the practice and its people, whilst leading social infrastructure, defence & public sectors.
