Nikita Bhopti is an Indian-born Aussie working as a writer, curator and practising architect.

From editorial work to working closely with small businesses, Nikita's words spread their wings over the global art, architecture and design scene. She works directly with publishers such as Architecture Media, Indesign Media, Niche Media, Yellowtrace, and Est Living, to produce journalistic reviews and critical articles. Through her copywriting services, Nikita also works with private clients all over the world to craft compelling project-specific narratives and engaging content for their businesses.

Working as a project architect at Sibling Architecture, Nikita is a skilled registered architect who has established deep roots in complex residential, educational and public projects spanning several scales. From delivering large new builds, to tight & thorny interventions, Nikita relishes working closely with her clients and the project team.

Nikita is actively involved in curating industry events via her work with the Australian Institute of Architects’ EmAGN committee, and her former role as Lead Curator and Secretary of New Architects Melbourne (NAM). Having chaired many panels and often a speaker, Nikita has spoken on a range of topics, particularly plugging into ideas of mentorship, writing in architecture and the role of media in design.

Her diverse experience across the industry makes Nikita both an insightful writer and a critical architect.
