Kim Irons is a regionally based architect and founding principal and director of Stonehouse + Irons Architecture. While her practice is focused on residential and small community projects, she has extensive experience on institutional projects, managing multiple clients and stakeholders, while leading local and international design studios.. She strongly believes in an architecture that contributes to a sustainably environment and public and community benefit.

In addition to her architectural practice, Kim advocates for the built environment and architectural profession in a range of other roles. She is an elected member and Regional Chair of the AIA Victorian Chapter Council, and independent reviewer for Victorian Design Review, Ballarat and Mornington Design Advisory Panels. Developed from her former role at the OVGA, she provides design and procurement advice to Victorian Government to achieve high quality architecture. Kim has taught design and architectural history studios and is a regular jury member for architecture awards.
