Fleur Watson (PhD) is a curator, writer and design researcher. She is an Associate Professor in the School of Architecture & Urban Design at RMIT University and the director of collaborative curatorial practice Something Together. Fleur’s practice is focused on projects that ask questions of design’s role in the world today and its agency in responding to the issues that shape contemporary life. She is the author of The New Curator: Exhibiting Architecture & Design (Routledge, London) and series editor of Editions: Australian Architecture Monographs (Thames & Hudson). From 2020–2022, Fleur was the executive director for Open House Melbourne and, in 2023, she joined the OHM Board. She was the founding executive curator for the Housemuseum Galleries and co-curated the opening exhibition ENTER (2019). From 2013–2020, Fleur was curator at RMIT Design Hub Gallery where she co-curated a diverse program of exhibitions across creative disciplines and through the lens of practice-led design research.
