Emily Van Eyk

Architect and Lecturer
Mt Eyk and The University of Western Australia

Emily runs a research-driven practice called Mt Eyk and is a lecturer at the University of Western Australia. Emily’s practice and teaching has a consistent approach— collaboration, clever ideas, and a coupling of the sensory with the functional— joy is a practicality.

Mt Eyk’s work ranges in type and scale from single room installation to medium sized public works. We take a site driven approach which offers a deep understanding of context. Our small practice shares a collaborative workspace with other architects, landscape architects, and researchers.

Emily lectures at UWA teaching masters level architectural practice, design-build, and first year architecture studio.
