Life3A

I am a practicing architect with over 15yrs experience within social infrastructure projects across the seniors living, education and healthcare sectors. With particular interest in integrated, socially sustainable, and diverse communities. Currently, I am the Director of Research at Life3A, a global design consultancy specialising in later living (retirement and independent living, assisted living, aged care, memory support and dementia, and palliative care), in which I foster partnerships and collaborative opportunities with thought leaders and experts from across the full ecosystem of ageing. Intersecting practice, industry and research to inform and improve better design and operational outcomes to ultimately optimise the experiences of all who live, work and learn within residential care communities. I am also co-currently undertaking my PhD at Deakin University, researching the significance of correlations between people, place, and purpose – as we age – and how these critical relationships impact the lived experiences of residents in care communities.
